X-Building in Bahagia #22 – Fast Progress

Submitted by Gigi on May 8, 2008 – 1:35 am4 Comments

Making fast renovation progress.

2nd May

Mountain of sand – and those rays of sunlight from our skylight. So nice.

Original bathroom doorway and window blocked up.

Piping of bathroom all done.

The workers’ stuff. Fridge to keep their food and chest to keep their gold~

Bathroom upstairs – see the yellow strings? Christina says those are for alignment.

Left: The other side (near the staircase) of the bathroom blocked up. Right: Some electrical pipes eliminated from the wall.

6th May

Cemented front patio. One step up.

Take a closer look.

7th May

Looking in from the backyard.

Left: Wall tiles originally on neighbour’s wall hacked. Thanks to Mr Lee. Right: Me observing the new walls of the bathroom upstairs.

Our dear roof insulation that cost $2k+! Unwanted beams were taken off by the roofer ~ and viola! The roof didn’t collaspe!

Went to Kronotex today and they have discontinued their 2 basic range – we were thinking of comparing Supreme’s prices to that. So too bad, we’re sticking to Supreme AC3 at $4 psf. Btw, I’m talking about the laminate flooring for the bedrooms. :)
