Mama’s making a Chef out of Me
My mama trains me to chop onions at lightning speed, slice thick meat patties, pan fry the gyozas, knead the dough, grate the radish and peel the potatoes before your hands got burnt. Yes, on my Nintendo DS. And, with a stylus. On Cooking Mama.
What I know is that, there are 76 recipes altogether. From the original 16, you can unlock a new recipe every time you cook something upon success. I am now at 50 recipes on my list, with 34 gold medals 6 silver medals 1 bronze and 9 untried ones. My aim is to get all 76 gold medals!

Its fun, and mama is very encouraging. She gives me all the time I need during practices and smiles broadly when I do well. Cooking Mama has a sequel on the Nintendo Wii – Cooking Mama, Cook Off – already released in Japan and America.
Heh. Instead of using the stylus, it will move on to mimicking real-life cooking movements such as mashing and stirring with the remote. And Instead of sweating it off in the kitchen, I’ll tone the arm muscles right there in the living room! Its a better investment than paying for the gym membership, don’t you think!
