Raw Ham Underground

Submitted by Gigi on May 4, 2007 – 11:55 amNo Comment

Sandwich with toasted bread, nicely burnt at the edge. With rosy-brown parma ham, something seasoned, lightly salted (salt-cured), thinly sliced, air-dried. And raw. With fresh tomatoes and crisp lettuce. Some slices of cheese. It’s very nice! Mmmm..

Goat cheese salad. Thousand Island Dressing with balsamic vinegar on the greens and raisins. And the goat cheese is slightly warm. Yummm…

Delicious escargots. In small little pots mixed with pesto and salsa. The before and After. Those orangey circular stuff are bread crumbs. The snails are actually under them!

We were at Le Carillon, this French place at Ann Siang Hill. This must be the 3rd time I’m mentioning this place in my blog. The First - With the same escargots. The first time we met without being set-up. The Second - With “Curillon” spelled wrongly. At a farewell party. Now the third – without Boombashi.

A special underground place indeed.
