Thai Accent @ Vivocity
There is no shortage of dining destinations @ Vivocity but to find one without a queue on a Friday night is like striking Toto. Forget it, even Long John Silver has a queue. And no please, I REALLY don’t like to queue (unless for worming reasons). I scouted for one with a shorter queue along that stretch facing Sentosa. Yes some craving for a little mango salad! My Phad Thai’s too hot for me, I only managed half the plate before I raised the white flag and gulped down the other half of my Thai iced tea. Damn, I shouldn’t have mixed in the chilli flakes! The boyfriend enjoyed his Tomyam beehoon very much. Try their apple salad, it sounds pretty interesting and “creative”. Overall, the service was good @ Thai Accent. The waiters/waitresses / manager are all very attentive and they seem to be very prompt in refilling glasses of water and the steamed rice… even though its a peak hour. I would think its a good alternative to your usual Thai Express, price range is about the same, tables and chairs are better here though, interior is also nicer. Except that I don’t see avacado milk shake on the menu here. Bah.

The shot I got of the interior, before the food came and before my K800i went bonkers. And the back-up one has to go flat at this time. Argh.
